The GR Saunders band is available to students in grades 4, 5 and 6 who will enjoy learning a new instrument and would like to experience being a member of a small band. We explore a variety of repertoire, and will be performing at various events in the school. There is a limited number of instruments available through the school, but instruments can also be rented through other means as well. This group rehearses one day per week, Monday 12:00-12:30 and is taught by music teacher, Ms. Ann Holton.
There is a membership fee for this group of $25.00 to cover any damages that may occur to the instruments. Students are required to have a black shirt/blouse, black pants and black shoes for performances. Students and parents must agree to and submit a signed Extra Curricular Activities Agreement found on the website as well as the Band Contract which will be given out to students who wish to participate.
